New to digital drawing?
If you would like to get started creating your own digital images, perhaps for KDP or some other platform, there are several places, mostly paid, that offer design courses. Of course, your first stop should be YouTube as there are some excellent drawing courses there, digital and otherwise. However, if you want to take it a step further and try some professional services, here are some links to get you started.
You can do a Google search for more courses online, but most of them you will need to pay for.
I’m currently taking the Illustration From Scratch course. I’ve always been interested in drawing, but I never realised how difficult it is to do it properly. Like every other skill, it takes a lot of practice and involves a lot of theory, but if you are willing to put in the effort, it’s certainly a skill worth having.
Your first attempts don’t have to be anything spectacular. They could be as simple as putting together an easy colouring book for children:
Or a silly graphic to add to free image sites for others to download:
If you think you can’t draw, don’t be discouraged. All skills can be learned by almost everyone and drawing is no different. You will improve with time and practice, so don’t give up, give it a go!
